"I had never held a guitar before when I went to my first guitar club and I was pretty nervous but Rory calmed me down and was so patient explaining the basics a few times until they started to sink in and even though I was a complete beginner I've never felt out of place amongst the other members, everyone has so much fun and no matter what skill level learn something each time. I've also never been made to feel bad for practicing between clubs, although maybe that's not a good thing :-D!"
Elizabeth de Boer
"Great teacher! Started taking lessons last April and I've enjoyed every one to one lesson I've had. Very knowledgeable and has broken down everything I've needed him to so that I understand fully. The grading system is very well structured and you always have something to aim for which is great. Highly recommend!!"

There is no additional charge for 5 week months, so you get the odd extra free session as a member as well as the huge discount from guest rates.

Do I need any experience before I can join?

Kids clubs and Adult beginner clubs are set up ready for brand new beginners to join. so no experience is required.

Who runs the club?

The clubs are all run by Rory our head tutor. He has over 15 year experience performing and writing, over 13 years experience teaching and has a fully enhanced DBS to cover his work with Children and Public liability insurance.

What do I need to bring?

Just yourself. however, If you have an electric guitar, please bring this with you as we have a limited number of spares available. We supply all amplification needed and leads.

Can parents come along with their children?

Yes you can. We understand that leaving your children with someone you don’t know can be uncomfortable at first. All we ask is that as soon as you are comfortable with the tutor that you then drop the kids off as there is limited space and we like to limit distractions for the students.

What ages do you teach in the kids class?

We teach from 8 years old, however younger students are welcome to a trial session and can join if they’re fully comfortable and have the attention span required for the groups

Do you teach both boys and girls?

Everyone is welcome to the clubs. It doesn’t matter your gender, your race or background. All we ask is that you are fluent in English so you and the tutor can understand each other.
